What General Pest Control Covers
Last updated: October 2026
General Pest Control may include inspection of accessible areas, identification of common household pests, and treatment of agreed locations using methods described in your estimate or service agreement. The specific pests, areas, preparation steps, and follow-up visits depend on the written scope; services are not automatically included just because a pest is found.
Termite work, bed bug programs, wildlife removal, structural repairs, exclusion work, and other specialized services require a separate agreement when offered. Mississippi Pest Solutions will use pesticides registered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and follow FIFRA label directions.
Applicators must hold required Mississippi licenses under Mississippi Code §69-23 and, where applicable, structural pest control licenses under §69-19. Worker protections may include the EPA Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR Part 170, and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200.
Applicable pesticide residues must be handled under RCRA requirements. Relevant oversight may include the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce, Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, and Mississippi State Department of Health.
Setting, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method confirmed by Mississippi Pest Solutions. We will provide the scheduled date or arrival window and any preparation instructions that apply to the agreed service.
Please make the property accessible and keep people or pets away from treatment areas as instructed. Contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or move a visit; any cancellation deadline or fee will be stated in your estimate or service agreement before it applies.
If no deadline or fee is stated, contact us promptly so we can discuss the change. A technician may need to reschedule when weather, unsafe conditions, access problems, or other circumstances prevent work from being performed properly.
If inspection reveals a need for work outside the approved scope, we will explain the proposed change and any price adjustment. We will not perform added work or charge for it without your approval, except where needed to address an immediate safety concern as permitted by law.
Estimates, Approved Work, and Payment
An estimate describes the work and price Mississippi Pest Solutions proposes based on the information available, site conditions, and requested service. An estimate is not approval to perform work; you authorize service by accepting the proposal or signing the applicable agreement.
Hidden conditions, access limits, or a changed request may affect the scope. We will explain any revised work and its cost and obtain your approval before proceeding.
Payment timing, accepted payment methods, and any deposit or other charge will be stated in the estimate or service agreement. Unless that document provides otherwise, payment is due as specified on the invoice.
Please raise questions about a charge promptly so we can review the service record and billing details. No price, discount, financing option, or recurring plan is promised unless it appears in a written offer accepted by you.
You are responsible for charges for work you approved, subject to applicable law and the written terms governing the service.
Written Terms Govern Any Service Warranty
Mississippi Pest Solutions does not promise a fixed warranty period or a particular pest outcome through these general terms. Any warranty, retreatment commitment, or follow-up service applies only if it is described in writing in the estimate or service agreement for your job.
That document will state what pests and locations are covered, how long coverage lasts, and how to request service. Coverage may not apply when the written terms exclude the condition, when the pest is outside the agreed scope, or when access, sanitation, moisture, building defects, or activity on neighboring property affects results.
Failure to follow required preparation or safety instructions may also affect eligibility if the written agreement says so. Please report concerns promptly and allow reasonable access for any inspection or service covered by the agreement.
Nothing in this section creates a warranty that was not offered in writing or limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
To the extent permitted by law, Mississippi Pest Solutions’ liability for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits limiting responsibility, including for rights that cannot be waived.
We are not responsible for damage, infestation, or other conditions that existed before treatment, were outside the agreed scope, or resulted from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing here excuses compliance with pesticide laws or authorizes use contrary to a product label.
Pesticides will be used according to FIFRA registration and label requirements, and work will be performed by appropriately licensed personnel under Mississippi Code §69-23 and, when applicable, §69-19. Relevant worker-safety duties may include the EPA Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR Part 170, and OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200.
Applicable pesticide residues must be managed under RCRA requirements. These terms do not waive legal duties or remedies that cannot be limited by agreement.

Daniel Carter
Service Expert at Mississippi Pest Solutions
I started in pest control in the Jackson area, where humid summers, fire ants, and termite pressure make steady prevention as important as treating an active problem. I built this company to give Mississippi homeowners clear explanations and dependable service suited to the homes and seasons here.
